Night and Day

My two kids are like night and day right now.  It is like a light switch flipped and Lily has become a dream baby, and Frankie has become an absolute mess.  Lily is now sleeping through the night, every single night, without waking up and crying or even making a peep.  She will sleep until 8:00 a.m. on weekends before calling out for us to come get her.  She did not cry one time all weekend.  She took two super long naps both days, and happily sat up and played with her toys in between naps.  She is babbling, cooing, and just a complete pleasure to be around these days.  She is getting very excited about her toys, and she will sit and reach as far as she can to get something.   A couple of times she has gone from sitting to her tummy, but then she immediately rolls on to her back.  I am not sure if she will ever try to crawl!  She has learned how to clap, and she is SO PROUD of herself.  I am not going to lie, we are pretty proud of her too.  She has such a sweet and happy nature about her, and it is so hard for anyone to believe that she ever screams or acts like anything other than a sweet angel.
Frankie...on the other hand, has had a rough week.  He is sick with an ear infection, and he has been acting like a maniac.  He does not want to listen to anyone, and he had his most epic temper tantrum on Saturday night where he cried/screamed for literally more than an hour for no reason.  Frank went out of his way to take him to do stuff this weekend, and they went to the park a few times, to buy new art stuff at toys r us, and to see his first movie in the movie theater "Nut Job."  But, he continued to act out and misbehave all weekend.  Tonight he threw his soccer ball and hit Lily right in her head when we were all sitting outside.  He is pushing limits, testing boundaries, and acting totally defiant, after having several months of really good behavior.  I am not sure what is causing this change, but I hope I get my sweet little boy back soon!
